Wristband Assistance - This position will be at the front gate to assist guests in putting their wristbands on as they come through the gate if needed.  This also serves as a greeter welcoming people to the Oregon Divisional Chainsaw Carving Championship.

Meal Monitors / Clean Up - Each day the Chamber provides breakfast and lunch for the Carvers and their assistants.  We need someone for each meal to monitor the food and keep things stocked as they are depleted and keep the area tidy.

Event Monitors - We will need monitors for the grounds for the duration of the event.  This will be to walk around, pick up rubbish, make sure attendees are staying out of carving areas, making sure children stay out of carving areas and off wood piles, keeping walkways clear and safe.

Photographer - Do you have a passion for taking photos?  We need some action shots of the carving as well as great photos of the finished pieces.  These photos would be used for social media during the event, on the website and for future promotions.

Poster Distributor - Posters should be done and printed sometime around the end of March.  When they are completed they will need people willing to go around Reedsport, Coos Bay, Florence and other surrounding areas to put them on display for all to see.

Help with Event Setup - Tuesday and Wednesday prior to the event we can use some general help getting the event site ready.  Banners will need to be hung, plaque's need to be hung on carver tents, parking signs put up, water buckets distributed, ticket booth cleaned out.

Help with Event Cleanup - What goes up must come down!  In the days following the event we will need help to take down banners, parking signs,  put items away and do whatever is necessary to make Rainbow Plaza look like it did before the event happened.

Electrician / Retired Electrician - If you are going to be in the area during the event and wouldn't mind the possibility of donating your services in case of any issue, we would be so grateful.  A lot of people pulling a lot of power occasionally creates a need for troubleshooting.

Volunteer Coordinator - This would be a person interested in spending a lot of time at the event and understanding what needed to be accomplished.  Looking for someone to assist with organizing volunteers, making sure positions are filled, assisting where necessary.

Wood Preparation - If you are good with a chainsaw or you are certified to operate a forklift we could definitely use your help.  In the time leading up to the event we need to get wood moved into Rainbow Plaza and have it cut to length.  We also need the main carve pieces cut, stood up on pallets and placed in their designated space.
